Over the years Sasha Brathwaite has received recognition for her passion and dedication in advocating for individuals in the community with disabilities. She strives in creating opportunities for accessibility and promoting inclusion through her music program. She was recognized by former Premier of Ontario Kathleen Wynne, MP Ramesh Sangha for Brampton Centre and Indira Naidoo-Harris member of Parliament for Halton.
In 2016 she received the Faces of Change Award and in 2017 she received a Women of Achievement Award from Dancing Damsels Inc.
